Cabbage

Cabbages form heads in a variety of shapes, including flat, conical and round. The green cabbage is composed of heavy, tightly wrapped leaf bundles, while some varieties, such as the Savoy and Napa cabbages have elongated heads with intricate lacy leaves. Cabbage comes from the French word caboche, meaning “head.”
