Help Protect Yourself from Stroke with Fruits and Vegetables

Potassium-rich foods, like potatoes with the skin on, acorn squash, and spinach, may help stop strokes.

Foods that lower homocysteine levels in the body (like peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, bok choy, brussles sprouts, and cabbages) may help prevent strokes as well.
